Hello, I am Emily Roberts ( married name Elphick) and I am leaving my 30 year career in the police in August 2022. I am keen to do something special to mark this occasion. The best way I can do this to raise awareness and prevention to PTSD is to walk 800k on the Camino de Santiago, I will document my journey as I transition from being a police officer to a member of public. Hopefully this will be interesting, raise awareness of the impact of the job on my colleagues, raise some funds to allow the amazing Curtis Palmer Program to help others when they need it x
