So this was my view this morning as I set out at 7am on my own. Greg has a really bad foot and can't put any weight on it so I am for the first time since I was 18 years old, alone in a foreign country. It feels amazing. It is an easy road today which is straight for 30 km with a few diversions through villages. There were other walkers/pilgrims to talk to but I wanted to just listen to my audio book and take in the scenery. Felt awesome when I finished and booked myself into the hostel and waited for Greg. (Ps there are no filters on the photo )
Greg's update - bloody foot! Spent the entire morning limping slowly between cafes, sniffing the free WiFi and moving on after a drawn out cuppa. Hopped a bus for 8 euros for a 40km journey to a big town ahead of our Moratinos stopover and then a short 8km taxi ride back along the smaller roads to join Em within minutes of her getting to our little hostel.

That photo is unreal! Super proud of you Emily but how will you get used to Greg again after such an awesome solo day. 😂 . Not surprising the 31km per day is causing issues and hope the pain eased after a day of rest Bro.
